How to help... Perc Up! Percussion You can support Perc Up! too! How? There are several ways to serve and help Perc Up. We need qualified instructors and artists to donate time for online chats, online forum input, percussion clinics, and events. We need sponsors and donations to fund events, forums, audition fees, scholarships, etc... *** We discover many students desiring to take private drum lessons but are unable to afford them. We try to scholarship these students and would like to do more in this area, also. We also help students with auditions fees, music fees, etc. Sponsorship Plans for Perc Up! Thank you for supporting the arts! All Sponsors, regardless of donation amount will be listed on our website and competition program (if desired, some wish to remain anonymous). FREE parking sponsor sign *Free parking provided by _____” Tote Bags or conference packets - Sponsor tote bags / plastic bags / packets, featuring both your logo and the Perc Up logo, which will be distributed to each attendee. Perc Up will select the style of the bag and has final approval over Perc Up logo placement. Bags will be shipped directly to the conference location.
Bundling of Sponsorship plans may be done with special discounts possible.
Any donation over $100 gets their respective logo on the website with the basic listing and link. Perc Up has sponsored several student drum lesson scholarships to students in need. You can help by giving lessons to those who otherwise would not be able to benefit from private drum lessons. We make every effort to do this in a dignified manner. We have also given many scholarships for students to attend Perc Up percussion clinics and events. Adopt a Drummer! Some students have financial hardship and may not be able to attend Perc Up 2009. We do not want money to stand in the way of a student attending Perc Up. Please consider sponsoring one or more student registration for Perc Up 2009!
In addition to helping talented students with audition fees and instruction, Perc Up has given many sticks and mallets, as well as drums and heads to both students and schools. We have taken instruments in almost any condition and were able to fix some so schools have some percussion instruments for their students. We are also aware of needs from time to time and try to meet them. The following are a few items we need now: Current known needs: Frequent Flyer Miles donated Perc Up 2009 funding and sponsors - ongoing... 13" marching snare heads (bottom heads) Snare drum sticks Old Snare Drums Bell Kits Xylophone or any mallet instrument (for a school which has none) Marching percussion instruments (always a need for MS and HS) A laptop computer - Met Thank you Mr and Mrs S.
