 Authentic African Percussion and Drumming at Perc Up!

Anderson University West African Percussion Ensemble

     Perc Up 2009 presents The Anderson University African Drum and Dance Ensemble (AU WADDE) demonstrating and performing authentic West African Drum and Dance.

     The ensemble members studied with members of Borenya West African Drum and Dance including Darren “Bibi” Gilley.   Darren served as guest artist and instructor for the AU African Drum and Dance Ensemble. Borenya is a workshop and performance touring company comprised of artists from Guinea, West Africa .

AU WADDE is under the direction of Dr. David L. Perry.
